Why is storytelling important?
Stories bridge gaps, teach lessons, inspire action, illustrate commonalities, preserve history, impart wisdom, restore spirits, activate the imagination, and infuse hope-- all of which are vital to building a more creative, connected, and just world.
We believe in the power of storytelling because it has the potential to change the world.
Pedal to Porch
A neighborhood bike with predetermined stops where residents tell true stories from their porch. We use the power of storytelling to lower the barrier of connection between neighbors, initiate new conversations, and celebrate neighborhood history.
Dinner for 30
This dinner series encourages people to cross cultures divides through live storytelling and cooking. A cook is invited to prepare a food dish that is connected to a fond memory, tell a story about it, and the audience will be welcomed to taste the dish.
We've taken everything we learned about storytelling and designed a 90-minute workshop. If you are an entrepreneur, an artist, or a college student, this workshop will provide you with tools and techniques to craft your story. Download the workshop description
